An exhibition is held annualy where newly built nyckelharpas
are displayed for viewing. They are judged by a jury and a best in show
harpa is named. This tradition started in 1975. So 2025 will be the 50th
anniversary
This year there were two winners in the class for modern nyckelharpas.The
gammelharpas were also of high quality were too few for winners to be
choosen 
Jan Ling filmed, using an 8 millimeter camera and recored at a taperecorder.
Later Sven Nordin edited them together so we now can see and listen to some important nyckelharpa players at a time when, especially the old drone, nyckelharpas were hardly
played anymore

Most of the Nyckelharpa World Champinoships have been held in Österbybruk.
